STEPHEN MORSE

Staples JV Coach, Stephen Morse has been a physical education teacher at Fairfield Country Day for over 25 years. During his time there, he coached soccer, hockey and lacrosse. During Stephen’s teaching career, he received the Finerty Award which is given to a faculty member who demonstrates special commitment to school life.

Stephen and family relocated to Blufton, South Carolina where he took on a new role as Guest Experience Manager of Recreation for Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. After returning to CT, he was the site director for ESF Camps at Greenwich Catholic. During his time there, he was an instructor for their Sports and Tennis Camps.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys tennis, golf, kayaking and hiking. Some fun facts about Stephen: he has driven a Zamboni on the hockey rink, he has character trained as Pluto and made numerous appearances around the Disney resorts. He recently completed the Tough Mudder course in NJ in support of a friend battling cancer. Stephen is happy to be coaching at Staples.
